The RISE Camp Experience
Our Mission and Values

Founded in 2014 Rise Camp has always been a “camp with a purpose.” At Rise, we aim to provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment. Children can challenge themselves through exploring new activities building confidence in an environment where they can be themselves, whilst making lifelong friends along the way.
With the values of kindness, friendship and inclusion instilled at camp we hope to empower children and young adults to contribute positively to the world around them.

Our Vision
Our provision is organised and led by experienced teachers and school leaders, with over 30 years combined experience working with children and young adults. As part of the Rise experience our three core outcomes for campers are: believing in yourself, building community, and doing good.
Be You
At Rise, we believe every child has individual talents and a lot they can offer the world. Creating a safe and nurturing space where campers can feel comfortable is one of the greatest gifts of the camp experience. We encourage and support campers to venture outside of their “comfort zones,” to be open to new experiences and to participate in the camp activities. At camp, individuality is celebrated and always remember… being your best self is being your authentic self!

Building Community
We believe all children play an active and integral role in creating the type of community in which they live. Rise Camp is a place where every camper feels known, needed, and cared for. Opportunities to help shape their communities are incorporated into the camp experience. Making meaningful friendships and sharing the joys of camp life together create a blueprint for the way campers will relate to others for the rest of their lives.
Doing Good
We believe every child’s voice and actions matter. Every day at camp children are encouraged to practise kindness and explore opportunities to think beyond themselves.
